Sweetheart Jewellery - Small collection of vintage inspired reverse carved acrylic jewellery.

After admiring a vintage acrylic brooch which a colleague was wearing, she showed me the back, when I could see that the flower details in her brooch which looked as if they were solid pieces cast into clear acrylic, were actually reverse carved. I loved the impression this created, and had to give it a try.

What I really enjoy about this process of making jewellery from scraps, is finding out that many of the original vintage pieces were made from workshop scraps, as wartime sweetheart gifts.
