Bold raindrop design: postcard

Gorgeous thick recycled greyboard gives a soft, tactile, matt finish, which makes these handprinted postcards a little special. It can be a difficult print surface, however the excellent Caligo safe wash inks do a great job. The colours are soft but full of pigment, and stable enough to go through the Mail. Oil based inks, which are solvent free.

Bold heart print : contemporary with a retro feel.

Heart design was made using sandblast stencil, which is a thin, adhesive backed rubber that can be cut with a blade. I’ve used a combination of scalpel and Cricut maker, to prepare my block designs.
